It’s now less than two weeks until our annual Summer Party on 10 June. I do hope you will be able to join us for lively conversation and quality networking while sipping a refreshing drink on Olswang’s lovely roof terrace. The Summer Party starts at 6.30pm – you can book here . The CIPR Corporate and Financial Group AGM is held immediately before the Summer Party, at 5.45pm, so please let Sue Owen know if you are planning to attend this, too. All Corporate and Financial Group members would be most welcome at the AGM.

The 10 June is looking like a red letter date, as at lunchtime that day Richard Fletcher, Business Editor of the Times, will be our lunchtime speaker. Perhaps those of you travelling to London for the Summer Party might like to make a Corporate and Financial day of it with the lunchtime speaker event, too.

We are grateful to our sponsors who provide financial and other forms of support (such as venues) for the Group’s events. CIPR partner Precise is once again sponsoring the Corporate and Financial Group Summer Party, and is also offering Corporate and Financial Group members free access to a new City & Financial curated Twitter list, to help you keep up to date with relevant conversations and to engage with influential journalists and commentators. This new list is accessed alongside over 30 updated Twitter lists covering a range of market sectors including Accountancy, Media & Advertising, Politics, PR News, Retail & Consumer, Sport and Technology through Precise’s MediaPlatform+.
