Nina Trentmann is a News Editor for the Wall Street Journal's CFO Journal, the organisation's corporate finance group. She is reporting on U.K.-based companies as well as Continental European ones. Besides that, she is a frequent commentator for broadcasters like the BBC and Sky.

Prior to her role at the Wall Street Journal, Ms. Trentmann worked as a U.K. Business and Finance Correspondent for WELT N24, one of the leading news outlets in Germany. She took up this position in August 2013, after her return from Shanghai in China.

Ms. Trentmann was with WELT N24 from 2006 to 2016 and worked in various positions in Duesseldorf, Berlin, London and Shanghai. She completed her journalistic training with Axel Springer Academy in Berlin and Institut zur Foederung publizistischen Nachwuchses in Munich.

Ms. Trentmann studied in Bonn, Washington DC, London and Shanghai and holds a Magister Artium as well as a double-masters degree. In 2012, she was awarded the Georg von Holtzbrinck-Preis, a prestigious award for business reporting in Germany.
