Comment from your Chairman
With Christmas fast approaching, it’s time to look back on what a great year 2014 has been but more importantly to look forward to 2015 when we celebrate the 40th birthday of the Corporate and Financial Group.
It’s going to be a great year, kicking off with George Parker, Political Editor at the FT, on 13 January 2015. Don’t forget that all our events attract CPD points – the deadline for completing your CPD record is 28 February 2015.
One of the highlights of 2014 for me was judging the London South round of Debating Matters. I was inspired by the quality of those who participated. One of my new year’s resolutions is to do more to encourage young people to think about public relations as a career. I would love to hear your ideas as to what I could be doing.
Thanks to everybody who has supported the Group this year. On behalf of all the committee, can I wish you a very happy Christmas and a successful and prosperous new year.
