Iain Dey has been with The Sunday Times for nine years, having been appointed Business Editor in late 2016 following his return from two years in the US as their New York Correspondent. He previously held the roles of Deputy Business Editor and Senior Business Reporter, with a focus on financial services and energy.

He joined The Sunday Times from The Sunday Telegraph, where he was their financial correspondent and he formerly held a number of roles in the Scottish press, culminating as Deputy Business Editor at The Scotsman and, later, City Editor of Scotland on Sunday.

New Event: CIPR Corporate and Financial Group Roundtable Discussion:

‘From Corporate Affairs Director to Executive Committee’

The Corporate and Financial group is hosting a new type of event which is aimed at in-house communications practitioners who want insight into how the role of the Corporate Affairs Director is growing in importance within companies.  These senior industry practitioners will speak from experience, and share their thoughts on what skills are needed for individuals to progress to positions on executive committees within public companies or corporate organisations.  Join us for a discussion with these industry leaders, chaired by Matthew Jervois, Kreab.

Julia Simpson, Head of CA, BA (IAG)

Giles Croot, Group Head of Communications and Investor Relations, Balfour Beatty
